Frigstad Engineering appoints Arvid Vabo as new CTO

We are pleased to announce that Arvid Vabo has joined Frigstad Engineering to fill the role as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), based in our office in Kristiansand, Norway. He will be responsible for growing the company’s engineering and consultancy business globally, and also support the development of new rig designs.

Arvid Vabo has been working in the offshore oil and gas industries since 1985, holding various positions within field engineering and senior management. He recently served as Senior Vice President with the drilling equipment manufacturer MHWirth AS (previous Aker Solutions) where he was responsible for project execution of major drilling projects at yards in Korea, China, Singapore and Norway and later engineering services.
